The PAX Institute is home to our training & specialty programs. Each of these programs are crafted with care, designed to nourish & equip you to facilitate Christian spiritual formation ministries. Our hope is that you will leave our programs feeling refreshed in your life of faith & intimacy with God as well as excited about supporting others in their journey & call.
The four Programs

Transformational Listening: Soul Care Companions (TL1)
Offered Virtually
Tuesday Evenings OR Saturday Mornings
Join us in our time-tested flagship program & experience the gift of listening, grow in the art of contemplative listening, & learn how to facilitate soul care groups. While TL1 is a stand alone program, it is also designed as the first year in our certificates in spiritual direction & spiritual formation!

Certificate in Christian Spiritual Direction (TL2)
Offered Virtually Saturdays (With An In Person Retreat)
Lean into your call & become trained as a Christian spiritual director! This program is designed as an experiential cohort model as you grow & learn together. (TL1 is a prerequisite for this 2nd year of the training.)

Certificate in Christian Spiritual Formation
Offered Virtually
Saturday Mornings
Come & continue to learn & be equipped to facilitate soul care ministries! Dive deeper into the dynamics of Christian spirituality & its relational foundation of love with God & one another. Please note that the prerequisite for this course is completion of TL1 (or similar experience), OR completion of a training in spiritual direction.

Enneagram Certificate Program
Offered Virtually
Saturdays
This one-of-a-kind certificate program is taught by Revs. Doug & Adele Calhoun. It is designed to help Christian spiritual directors, counselors, pastors & life coaches go deeper with & use the Enneagram as part of their ministry.
