The focus is on equipping you with another meaningful way to care for those who you are supporting & guiding! This training program will help you learn:

• How your own type impacts your listening & guidance

• Spiritual practices appropriate to each number

• How to use the Harmony Triads in transformation

• How to use the Harmony Triads in discernment

• How to use the WEPSS (Wagner’s Enneagram Personality Style Spectrum) assessment for a one-on-one session.

The material of this certificate requires you to already have a working knowledge of the Enneagram & be currently in a position to be caring for people in an intentional capacity. The prerequisites include:

• Certification as a spiritual director, counselor, pastor, or life coach (will also consider those currently in training)

• Completion of introductory training on the Enneagram or comparable knowledge & experience with the Enneagram

• Completed registration form

• An interview with the program facilitators, Doug & Adele Calhoun

• Active participation & attendance of the sessions

• Reading of the two required books

• Completion of assignments before each session

• Supporting at least two people in a soul care capacity

The Enneagram is a unique personality tool in providing a valuable process of self awareness & understanding that can lead to a greater awareness of the gift of community. It describes 9 different character types that correspond to attitudes & behaviors affecting you & your relationships. Each distinctive character, or personality style, has its own way of viewing, construing, & responding to people & events. It clarifies how you organize your thoughts, perceptions, strengths, & defense mechanisms.

Following Jesus is all about transformation, becoming like Him & living like Him! Paul writes in Ephesians 4:22-24, You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self…& to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness & holiness. Where do you seem to get stuck in that critical process of “putting off the old self” (the false self) & “putting on the new self” (the true self in Christ)? What needs transforming in you?

The Enneagram offers profound insight into our heart motivations, & provides a way of seeing both the beauty of how God made you & the detours of behavior patterns & compulsions that can lead you away from God.

The total cost for the program is $1,235 with a registration fee of $335 due upon acceptance & monthly payments of $150 required thereafter.
